Dustin May Expects To Be Stretched Out When Season Begins
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Dustin May (side), the team's No. 2 prospect per MLB Pipeline, said he threw three innings on Sunday and expects to be stretched out to five innings when the regular season starts. May had some soreness in his side in spring training earlier this year, but it looks like he'll be ready to go later this month. The 22-year-old right-hander could be more appealing as a late-round flier now that David Price and Jimmy Nelson won't play at all this year, but Ross Stripling is likely ahead of May when it comes to the Dodgers rotation options. May should already be owned in all dynasty/keeper formats and is certainly worth stashing in NL-only leagues because of his upside.
