Dominick Puni Questionable to Play in Week 1
San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that right guard Dominick Puni (knee) is "iffy" for Week 1 with a knee sprain, per Matt Barrows of The Athletic. Seventh-round rookie Connor Colby could be in line to take Puni's place in the starting lineup if Puni misses time. A third-round pick in the 2024 draft, Puni started all 17 games for San Francisco as a rookie and was one of the bright spots in an otherwise down season for the team.
