Dodgers Call Up J.P. Feyereisen
J.P. Feyereisen from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday and designated right-hander Yoendrys Gomez for assignment in a corresponding move, according to The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya. Feyereisen will give the Dodgers a fresh bullpen arm for the time being in the big leagues. The 32-year-old veteran began the year with the Arizona Diamondbacks but was cut after giving up three runs (two earned) while walking none and striking out two in two relief innings in the desert. He quickly latched on with the Dodgers to stay in the National League West after making 10 relief appearances with L.A. a year ago. In those 10 outings, he allowed 10 earned runs on 11 hits while walking five and striking out nine. There's nothing to see here for fantasy managers.
