Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Derrick Brown (knee) continues to be evaluated on a week-to-week basis as he recovers from the season-ending meniscus injury that he suffered last year, according to Joseph Person of The Athletic. Both Brown and head coach Dave Canales have emphasized that although they'd like to see the talented defender back on the field, they do not want to rush his recovery and rehab progress. He suffered the injury during Week 1 last year, putting an end to his season as soon as it had begun. In 2023, he made 103 tackles and registered two sacks while earning recognition as a Pro Bowler.--Andersen Pickard
