Like or hate Denny Hamlin, but Sunday was definitely a heartbreaker for the No. 11 car. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver was in a position to win as he led into the overtime portion of the race at Indianapolis. He held off Kyle Larson several times and appeared to be primed to win when Chase Briscoe bumped him out of the way. The argument was that Briscoe had been black-flagged. In what was deemed "hard racing", Hamlin was unlucky and visibly perturbed. However, the reaction some expected was not what happened. Again, the No. 11 dropped all the way to 23rd despite leading 27 laps. It is hard to believe Hamlin is winless in 2021 but yet here we are. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
