Dee Eskridge Dealing With Hamstring Injury
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that wide receiver Dee Eskridge (hamstring) has been sitting out of mandatory minicamp this week with a hamstring issue. Eskridge missed seven games of his rookie campaign with concussion issues and recorded only 10 receptions for 64 yards and one touchdown on 20 targets in his first NFL season last year. So the second-round pick in 2021 needs all the offseason repetitions he can get if he wants to make more of an impact in his sophomore season. The 25-year-old will be competing with Freddie Swain and rookie Bo Melton in training camp for the No. 3 receiver role behind DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. With quarterback Russell Wilson gone, whoever wins the No. 3 role won't be very attractive in fantasy.
