David Montgomery Rips Off 80-Yard Touchdown Run
4 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery carried the ball 11 times for 113 yards with one touchdown and 43 receiving yards in the Bears 36-7 win over the Texans in Week 14. Montgomery got the Bears off to a fantastic start, taking the first offensive play of the game 80 yards to the house as the Bears never looked back. The re-insertion of quarterback Mitchell Trubisky has given life to the Bears running game and Montgomery is now averaging 5.8 yards per carry when Trubisky is the starter. The second-year back will have healthy RB2 value next week against the Vikings.
