Daniel Berger's downfall at The Northern Trust was the length of some holes and a few extra missed putts. The rain slowed the greens down and maybe that was too much for Berger. However, too many short-distance putts just did not fall. For someone that ranked 15th in birdies per round, it was very unusual to see Berger struggle. His around the green work is less than desirable as well. He was negative in strokes gained last week as well as overall on the season (-0.086). It will be something to see if he can bounce back given the Owings Mill course is 7,226 years and not 7,410. The fast greens are going to be a challenge. If Berger can again get rid of those yips he had last week, he will have even more upside. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
