Connor Thomas on 60-Day Injured List
Connor Thomas (elbow) was transferred from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday with left-elbow arthritis, but as of early May, he was on a schedule that led to a minor-league rehab assignment starting on Wednesday, according to MLB.com. Thomas received an injection in his left elbow in late April, and although he's about to start a rehab assignment, the 26-year-old southpaw isn't particularly close to a return. He made his major-league debut with the Brew Crew this year before landing on the shelf and allowed 12 earned runs on 12 hits (three homers) while walking two and striking out five in 5 1/3 innings out of the bullpen. If Thomas can avoid a setback on his rehab assignment, he could be back in Milwaukee's bullpen in June, but he will remain off the fantasy radar everywhere.
