Colton Parayko A Game-Time Decision Thursday
2 years agoSt. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko (undisclosed) will once again be a game-time decision for Thursday's clash with the Capitals. He was also a game-time call for Wednesday's matchup against Chicago and ended up missing the game. Parayko was actually on the ice for pre-game warm-ups but clearly didn't feel well enough as he ended up sitting out the night. His absence gave Tyler Tucker an opportunity to make his NHL debut and the 22-year-old logged 11:05 of ice time, collecting one shot on goal, one block and one hit. Calle Rosen saw a big boost of playing time at the back and ended up opening the scoring in a 5-2 victory. He now boasts four points in seven games this season, and there could be plenty more to come for him if Parayko isn't able to return to the lineup.

Colton Parayko Unmoved By Trade Rumors
2 years agoSt. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko wants to stick with the team and isn't bothered by trade rumors. "The last few years, I've always been in the (trade talk) mix," Parayko told Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic. "I personally never heard anything around here, but obviously people are talking. That's part of the gig. It's pro sports and people are traded and obviously where we were last year at the deadline, things are always getting talked about. I don't think much about it. This is where I want to play." Parayko has spent his entire eight-year NHL career with the Blues, notching 233 points (51 goals, 182 assists) in 577 games with 1231 shots on goal, 1020 blocks, and 738 hits. He can impact things at both ends of the ice, but after averaging a career-low 0.34 points per game last season, it's understandable why the towering blue-liner is linked with an exit from St. Louis.

Colton Parayko Trending Toward Returning Monday
2 years agoSt. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko (upper body) is a game-time decision for Monday's contest versus Anaheim and is trending toward returning to action. He has been a game-time call a couple of times now since getting sidelined last week. The towering blue-liner has missed three games. Parayko's season for the Blues has been a tough one, with him boasting only three points with a minus-nine rating in 14 games, but he's a big presence at both ends of the ice and full of quality. Parayko's absence has allowed Tyler Tucker to skate in his first three career games and it's likely that he will exit the lineup Monday.

Colton Parayko Could Miss Wednesday's Game
2 years agoSt. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko wasn't on the ice at the morning skate and could miss his first game of the season Wednesday versus Chicago. He is dealing with an undisclosed issue and the team has taken a wait-and-see approach regarding his availability Wednesday. The towering blue-liner has not had a good campaign, boasting only three points so far and carrying a minus-nine rating through 14 games. Tyler Tucker is set to make his NHL debut if Parayko can't go. The 22-year-old has impressed in the AHL with seven points in 11 games, and it was only a matter of time before Tucker got his opportunity in the big league.
