3 years agoBoston Red Sox infielder Christian Arroyo (knee) is expected to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester this week and could play as soon as Wednesday. Arroyo landed on the 10-day injured list with a right knee contusion, but he might be ready for the team's West coast road trip later this week if he doesn't suffer any setbacks in the minors. The 26-year-old was hitting .264 with four home runs, 17 runs scored and 19 RBI before the injury, so the Red Sox will be happy to get him back. Kike Hernandez, Michael Chavis and Marwin Gonzalez have all seen starts at the keystone with Arroyo out. When he's healthy, Arroyo is more of an asset in AL-only leagues and deep mixed leagues as middle infield depth.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
