4 years agoKansas City Chiefs standout defensive tackle Chris Jones, who was placed on the COVID-19 list on Thursday because of close contact with a staff member that tested positive for the virus, is back in the facility on Friday and is set to practice, according to a source. It's a sign that Jones has been cleared and will be available to play in Week 9 against the Panthers. That will be a big boost for a Chiefs Defense that is a strong option this weekend against Carolina, even with running back Christian McCaffrey (ankle) set to return for the first time since Week 2. Jones is a weekly consideration in IDP leagues at his position. The 26-year-old was a Pro Bowler last year and has 22 tackles (13 solo), 12 QB hits, two forced fumbles and 4.5 sacks in seven games in 2020.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
