The Kansas City Chiefs have released veteran safety Mike Edwards, ending his second stint with the team. Edwards, a six-year pro, played every game for Kansas City in 2023, starting five, and contributed across special teams and the secondary. He began last season with the Bills, appearing in three games before joining the Buccaneers for five more.
