The Pittsburgh Pirates will start right-handed pitcher Carmen Mlodzinski on Wednesday against the Cardinals and righty Braxton Ashcraft on Thursday. Mlodzinski has served as both a starter and a reliever for the Pirates this season, going 3-7 with a 3.89 ERA, a 1.30 WHIP, and a 20.2% strikeout rate in 81 innings of work. He has been pitching between two and four IP recently, so he may not pitch deep enough into the game to be win-eligible. Therefore, despite the strong matchup, fantasy managers may want to steer clear of streaming him in Wednesday's matchup.--Connelly Doan
