Carlton Davis To Be A Game-Time Decision
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that cornerback Carlton Davis (groin) will be a game-time decision for Week 16 against the Lions on Saturday. Davis, a third-year starter, hasn't practiced this week after leaving the Week 15 game early with a groin injury. The 23-year-old is on the wrong side of questionable for Saturday's tilt, which would leave the Bucs a bit more vulnerable against Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. and company. Davis ranks as the No. 2 fantasy defensive back in IDP leagues this year with 52 total tackles, 17 pass breakups and four interceptions in 14 games. The Bucs defense overall is still a great fantasy play against a Lions team that will be without interim head coach Darrell Bevell and four assistant coaches due to COVID-19 protocols.
