Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Brayan Bello pitched seven shutout innings while striking out eight in a 2-0 win over the Yankees. He allowed three hits and three walks while improving his record to 3-1. This was the right-hander's third straight quality start, and he has only allowed more than three runs in a start once all season. The main problem has been efficiency, as Bello had a five-start stretch from May 8 to May 28 where he failed to complete five full frames. He'll carry a 3.49 ERA into his next start against the Giants.--Jeremy Heist
