Breshad Perriman Signs One-Year Deal With Lions
4 years agoFormer New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Detroit Lions on Thursday, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Perriman will now play for the same team that his father Brett starred for. The 27-year-old was expected to be one of New York's top receivers in 2020, but that didn't happen. Perriman played in just 12 games due to injury and disappointed with 30 receptions on 60 targets for 505 yards and three touchdowns a year after posting career-highs in catches (36), receiving yards (645) and touchdowns (six) in his final season in Tampa Bay in 2019. There will be bounce-back potential in Detroit, though, with both Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones Jr. expected to leave in free agency. Perriman could be a solid value pick in the later rounds of fantasy drafts, depending on who else the Lions bring in at the position.
