Brayan Bello Picks Up Win, Strikes Out Six On Wednesday
6 months agoBoston Red Sox right-hander Brayan Bello turned in a quality start in his team's 7-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday. Bello allowed two runs on seven hits over six innings while striking out six and walking two. He earned the win in the contest, upping his record to 7-4 in 2024, to go along with a 4.83 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and 62 strikeouts across 69 innings of work. Bello got off to a hot start in 2024, posting a 2.91 ERA in April, but he has struggled since with a 5.66 ERA in May and a 6.23 ERA thus far in June. Hopefully Wednesday's performance against Toronto will get him back on track. Fantasy gamers should still be rostering Bello but he has emerged as more of a matchup play moving forward.
