Baltimore Orioles rookie right-hander Brandon Young will make a spot start on Tuesday against the hosting Texas Rangers after the Orioles pushed right-hander Charlie Morton's (elbow) next start back to Friday versus the Atlanta Braves due to low-grade elbow tendinitis. Young will be making his fourth big-league start and could be needed for more starts in the immediate future now that lefty Cade Povich (hip) suffered a setback during his minor-league rehab start. The 26-year-old Young hasn't fared well in his first three starts with Baltimore, allowing 10 earned runs on 16 hits (two homers) while walking nine and 11 strikeouts in 12 2/3 innings. However, Young could easily turn things around against a Rangers offense that has the third-lowest OPS (.657) in baseball. Still, he'll be a volatile and shaky deep-league streaming option.--Keith Hernandez
