Bobby Miller Lined Up For Game 2 Against Arizona
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers rookie right-hander Bobby Miller is in line to start Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Arizona Diamondbacks in LA on Monday. Veteran right-hander Lance Lynn is in play to start Game 3. Lefty Clayton Kershaw is kicking off the series on the mound for the Blue on Saturday. Miller was impressive in his first major-league season in 2023, going 11-4 with a 3.76 ERA (3.51 FIP), 1.10 WHIP, 32 walks and 119 strikeouts in 124 1/3 innings over 22 starts. The 24-year-old closed out the regular season strong, too, giving up just seven earned runs while walking four and striking out 27 in 22 2/3 innings over four starts. Miller allowed four earned runs while walking two and fanning 10 in 12 innings in his two starts against Arizona in the regular season.
