The Chicago Bears signed new offensive guard Joe Thuney to a two-year contract extension on Tuesday at $17.5 million per year, a source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter. Thuney will now make $51 million for the next three years with $33.5 million fully guaranteed at signing. The 32-year-old veteran was slated to count $16 million against the 2025 salary cap, but his new deal will lower that figure.
