Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews became the first player in franchise history with four consecutive 40-goal seasons when he opened the scoring in Monday's 2-1 overtime win against Florida. He's only the sixth U.S.-born player ever to achieve the feat. On Monday, Matthews also became the ninth player in NHL history to reach 300 career goals before his 26th birthday. He's truly an elite sniper who can get a goal at any given moment, and Matthews is also on the brink of setting his new assists record. With two more games to come, he needs to set up two goals to better his 46-assist mark from last season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
