Free-agent tight end Antonio Gates re-signed with the Los Angeles Chargers on a one-year deal on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Gates was expected to rejoin the Bolts right after Hunter Henry suffered a season-ending knee injury in May. The 38-year-old Gates should immediately step in as the starting tight end.
