Anton Forsberg Out Indefinitely
2 years agoOttawa Senators goaltender Anton Forsberg (knee) has been ruled out indefinitely. He was diagnosed with an MCL tear in both of his knees Sunday after he was forced to leave Saturday's game against Edmonton on a stretcher. It's very unfortunate for the Swedish netminder who had been performing very well in recent weeks as the team's temporary starter. He entered Saturday's action with a three-game winning streak and has managed an 11-11-2 record overall for the season. With Cam Talbot (lower body( still some way off a return, the team is set to ride Mads Sogaard for the time being.
