Anthony Rendon Ejected Monday For Arguing Strike Call
Anthony Rendon was ejected from Monday’s contest versus Texas for arguing balls and strikes. Rendon was rung up for strike three in the seventh, before a discussion with home-plate umpire Kyle McCrady resulted in Rendon being sent packing. Prior to his departure, Rendon struck out three times in a contest for the first time all season. There’s not likely to be any kind of suspension for Rendon moving forward, so fantasy managers can anticipate him returning Tuesday against San Diego righty Zach Davies.
