Kansas City Royals right-hander Alec Marsh (shoulder) has yet to resume throwing since he received an injection in his sore right shoulder in late July. With the clock ticking on the season, it appears unlikely that Marsh will pitch at all in 2025. The 27-year-old has battled shoulder troubles since the offseason and has experienced multiple setbacks over the past several months. It appears this will end up as a lost season for Marsh, who recorded a career-high 129 innings in 2024 and went 9-9 with a 4.53 ERA, a 1.26 WHIP, and 123:39 K:BB.--Connor Byrne
