Welcome back, RotoBallers, to my Week 13 fantasy baseball outfielder waiver wire pickups, which focus on games from June 23 to June 29 of the 2025 MLB season. There are six teams with seven-game schedules this week, featuring the Braves, Cubs, Twins, Mets, Mariners, and Cardinals. The focus of this week's column will be on these teams, as we're prioritizing volume by trying to maximize plate appearances.

There will also be a couple of players included for their long-term value. The players featured in this column combine standard formats and deeper leagues, using roster percentages from Yahoo! (11-50 percent for shallow leagues and 10 percent or less for deeper leagues).

These outfielders are either one-week streamers or have a chance to stay on your roster. With that in mind, let's dive into my Week 13 fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups.

Fantasy Baseball Outfield Waiver Wire Adds - Standard Leagues

Lars Nootbaar, St. Louis Cardinals (41% rostered)

Lars Nootbaar is slashing only .223/.335/.371 with nine home runs and four stolen bases. But this is a player with a 92nd percentile hard-hit rate and an 82nd percentile bat speed, per Baseball Savant. Hitters who can generate hard contact like this generally have more productive seasons. We'll take a shot on Nootbaar as a one-week streamer with seven games on tap: four vs the Cubs, three at the Guardians. If you're in an OBP league, Nootbaar is even more appealing due to his strong walk rate.

Alec Burleson is swinging a hot bat of late, going 15-for-35 (.429 BA) with five runs, three homers, and 10 RBI in his last eight games. This puts Burleson's season-long slash at .314/.352/.473, making him worth a pickup while he's playing well. This is another Cardinal to target for the seven-game schedule. Let's ride the wave with Burleson, who is combining power and contact right now. Burleson is one of my favorite pickups for this week.

Jeff McNeil is slashing .274/.338/.548 with five homers in 17 games in June. This is a versatile veteran who can also be deployed at second base. Pick him up to enjoy the seven-game schedule with a hot bat, featuring four games vs the Braves and three at the Pirates. If you need a boost in average, McNeil is your guy. However, this feels like more of a short-term pickup than one who can stick on your roster, temper your expectations.

Victor Scott is the third Cardinal featured in this week's column due to the seven-game schedule. The Cardinals outfielder is coming off a good game against the Reds, where he went 2-for-4 with a run. We've seen Scott steal two bases in his last three games, putting his total at 21 on the season. As one of the fastest players in baseball, Scott can give you a speed boost, especially in a seven-game week like the one coming up. But only pick him up if you can withstand the loss of power that he brings to your roster.

Matt Wallner has posted an .821 OPS against right-handers this season, which is good news for this week because six righties in a seven-game week: four games vs the Mariners and three against the Tigers. We've seen him hit safely in three consecutive games, including a homer against the Brewers on June 20th. This is the type of hitter who can provide a power boost for your team. Wallner has the ability to stick on your roster for the long haul.

Jake Mangum has performed pretty well for the Rays in June, slashing .290/.329/.319 with two stolen bases. This is an outfielder who is currently on a nine-game hitting streak, so it's a good idea to pick him up for the six-game week, which includes three at the Royals and three at the Orioles. Mangum can boost your batting average and stolen bases for your team.

Luke Raley, Seattle Mariners (4% rostered)

Luke Raley returned to the Mariners' lineup on June 20th after being out since April 27th, hitting safely in two games with one double and two RBI. Remember that this is a hitter who slugged 22 homers with 11 steals last season, so there's some long-term appeal in deeper formats. The Mariners have seven games on tap for this week: at the Twins for four and at the Rangers for three. Six of these games are vs righties, which is good news for the left-handed hitting Raley.

Harrison Bader has been solid in power-speed contributions, featuring seven homers and seven steals in 67 games. The play here is to pick up Bader for a multi-category boost during a seven-game week for the Twins. While there's not much long-term appeal with Bader, you have to love the volume and power-speed production, making him worth a look in this spot.

Tyrone Taylor, New York Mets (1% rostered)

Tyrone Taylor has hit safely in three consecutive games, including a home run against the Braves on June 17th. Perhaps this can be the start of a hot streak for Taylor. Give him a shot if you're in a deeper format because the Mets have six games this upcoming week: four vs the Braves and three at the Pirates. This is the type of hitter who can provide a power boost in small spurts.

Starling Marte, New York Mets (1% rostered)

Starling Marte has been on quite a roll for the Mets lately, slashing .333/.391/.476 in June. In fact, the veteran has hit over .300 in each of the last two months. While playing time has been sporadic, perhaps the Mets will start to give Marte more at-bats while he continues to look good at the plate. Pick up Marte for a batting average boost in a seven-game week.
