No. 32 - Vancouver Canucks
Last Week Ranking - 32
The Canucks returned from the Olympic break and saw similar results to those they have had for nearly the entire season. They returned to action on Wednesday and took an overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets. On Saturday, they took another loss, this time in regulation (5-1) to the Seattle Kraken.
Vancouver has won just two games over their last 10 and has dropped six of their last 10 in regulation. Their last victory came on January 29, a 2-0 win over the Ducks. Since then, they have posted a -10 GD with a 0-3-2 record. Top trade target Evander Kane scored his 10th goal of the season on Wednesday and will likely be traded to another club in the coming days.
No. 31 - New York Rangers
Last Week Ranking - 31
The Rangers saw both of their games go to overtime this week. On Thursday, the Rangers fell to the Flyers in overtime, but got some revenge on Saturday, taking down the red-hot Pittsburgh Penguins in a shootout. Despite the solid showing, the team still holds a 2-7-1 record over its last 10 and remains at the bottom of the East.

While they remain far out of the playoff picture, the Rangers did see top netminder Igor Shesterkin return from injury. He started both games this week and stopped 52 of the 57 shots he saw. He enters the new week boasting an elite 2.45 GAA with a .913% SV%.
No. 30- Chicago Blackhawks
Last Week Ranking - 29
The Blackhawks entered the break in a bit of a slump, dropping five of their last six games, and were unable to find much momentum in the short Week 19. They began with a loss to the Predators (4-2) on Thursday and then fell to the top-heavy Avalanche on Saturday (3-1). However, they would end their week with an impressive 4-0 shutout over the Utah Mammoth.
Top winger Teuvo Teräväinen would score two goals in this victory, and netminder Arvid Söderblom would stop all 22 shots he saw. The Blackhawks enter Week 20 with a 23-28-9 record, sitting with the fifth-fewest points in the sport.
No. 29 - St. Louis Blues
Last Week Ranking - 30
St. Louis entered the Olympic break carrying a three-game losing skid but showed some promise in the short Week 19. They returned to action on Thursday evening and took down the Kraken by a commanding 5-1 score. While they fell to the Devils (3-1) on Saturday, they bounced back on Sunday evening, taking down the Western powerhouse Minnesota Wild (3-1).
Despite the impressive showing, the Blues are expected to be heavily involved in the upcoming trade deadline, as top forwards Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou, as well as defender Justin Faulk, have all been linked to numerous teams.
No. 28 - Calgary Flames
Last Week Ranking - 28
The Flames picked up an impressive 4-1 victory coming out of the break when they took down Macklin Celebrini and the Sharks on Thursday evening. In this contest, Dustin Wolf stood on his head, stopping 34 of the 35 shots he saw. Top forward (and trade candidate) Nazem Kadri also scored two goals in this contest.
However, they would drop their final two games of the week, with a 2-0 loss to the Kings on Saturday night and a 3-2 shootout loss to the Ducks on Sunday evening. The Flames have won just three of their last 10 games and enter the new week with 55 points, tied for the fewest in the league.
No. 27 - Winnipeg Jets
Last Week Ranking - 27
The Jets saw all three of their games this week reach overtime. On Wednesday, they took down the bottom team in our rankings (the Canucks) 3-2 in overtime. However, their final two games, against the Ducks and Sharks, would both end oppositely, with overtime losses.
Winnipeg holds a 3-3-4 record over their last 10 and continues to separate themselves from the "bottom" tier in our rankings. After allowing five goals in his first return since winning the Gold Medal, Connor Hellebuyck looked like his former self on Sunday evening, when he stopped 31 of the 33 shots he saw in their loss.
No. 26 - Toronto Maple Leafs
Last Week Ranking - 20
After entering the Olympic break on a three-game winning streak, appearing to carry some momentum into the final stretch, their fortunes quickly flipped this week. They played in three games and saw all three contests end in regulation losses, which sent them tumbling down the Eastern standings.
They fell to the Lightning, Panthers, and Senators by a combined score of 14-5. Their lone bright spots on offense were William Nylander and Auston Matthews, who combined for six points over their three games. However, goaltender Joseph Woll had a disastrous week, allowing eight goals on 63 shots, and was even pulled from Saturday's loss.
No. 25 - New Jersey Devils
Last Week Ranking - 26
The Devils had mixed results this week, posting a 1-1 record. They opened their week with a trip to Steel City, where they fell to the Penguins by a score of 4-1. However, they got back in the win column on Saturday, taking down the Blues (3-1) in St. Louis. Goaltender Jacob Markstrom led the way in this contest, stopping 25 of the 26 shots he saw.
Despite ending the week with some momentum, the Devils remain in the bottom half of our rankings, having won just three of their last 10 games. They enter the new week with a 29-29-2 record, good for the second-lowest in the Eastern Conference.
No. 24 - Florida Panthers
Last Week Ranking - 22
The Panthers had a three-game slate and needed to pick up points to stay afloat in the postseason race. While they began the week on the right foot, taking down the Toronto Maple Leafs (5-1), their other two contests would both end with a regulation loss. On Thursday, they fell to the Buffalo Sabres (3-2) and would conclude their week with a tough 5-4 loss to the Islanders.
The reigning champions now enter Week 20 with a 30-27-3 record and a rough 3-7 record over their last 10 games. They are facing a serious uphill battle to re-enter the Stanley Cup Playoff conversation.
No. 23 - Los Angeles Kings
Last Week Ranking - 21
The Kings had a busier three-game slate in their return and did not get off to the best start. On Wednesday, they fell to the Golden Knights, but a 6-4 score saw the struggles continue against the Oilers (8-1) on Thursday evening. However, they picked up a much-needed victory on Saturday against the Flames (2-0) to get back on track.
The Kings will have another tough task awaiting them on Monday, facing the high-powered Colorado Avalanche. Goaltender Anton Forsberg picked up a much-needed shutout victory on Saturday as he entered this contest carrying a rough 0-2-1 record with a 4.54 GAA over his last four outings.
No. 22 - Nashville Predators
Last Week Ranking - 25
The Predators have continued to hold their footing just outside the Western Conference playoff picture and picked up three of their four possible points this week to stay in the conversation. They return to play Thursday, when they took down the Blackhawks (4-2). Then on Saturday, they escaped Dallas with an overtime loss (3-2).
The Predators hold a solid 4-2-4 record over their last 10 games and remain just two games out of the final Wild Card position. Veteran center Steven Stamkos remains in several trade discussions but continued to lead the way this week, scoring two more goals, raising his season total to 30.
No. 21 - San Jose Sharks
Last Week Ranking - 24
The Sharks began the week the same way their previous four games had ended, with a loss. They fell to the struggling Calgary Flames in a tough 4-1 loss in San Jose. However, the young Sharks wasted little time finding their footing, winning 2-0 in their final two games. On Saturday, they took down the Oilers in a massive 5-4 victory and stayed hot on Sunday, defeating the Jets (2-1) in overtime.
While MVP candidate Celebrini has stolen much of the headlines in San Jose, Will Smith has put together a strong campaign as well. On Sunday, he scored his 18th goal of the season and raised his point total to 41 points, over 45 games.

No. 20 - Edmonton Oilers
Last Week Ranking - 17
The Oilers continue to be one of the most inconsistent teams in the sport. This week was no different as they flashed immense upside in one of their games (taking down the Kings 8-1 on Thursday), but then dropped their other two games, by a combined 11-9 score to the Ducks and Sharks.
They enter the new week with a modest 4-6 record over their last 10. Their 215 goals scored remain the second-most in the league, second only to the Avalanche, but their hefty 206 goals allowed (fourth-highest) have hindered any consistent production.
No. 19 - Philadelphia Flyers
Last Week Ranking - 23
The Flyers found themselves a bit of a force in the first round of the break but showed solid promise this week. They began with a tilt at MSG on Thursday night and took down the Rangers in overtime, thanks to a game-winner by Russian forward Matvei Michkov. Later on Saturday, the Flyers upset the Bruins in Philadelphia (3-1).
The Flyers now sit only six points out of a Wild Card, ahead of their critical game on Monday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Since the start of February, Dan Vladar has been among the game's most productive netminders, posting a .936% SV% with a 1.77 GAA.
No. 18 - Ottawa Senators
Last Week Ranking - 19
The Senators have continued to climb in the Eastern standings and turned in another strong showing this week. They began the week with a tough loss to the Detroit Red Wings but quickly bounced back on Saturday, defeating the Maple Leafs by a commanding 5-2 score. The Senators now hold a strong 6-3-1 record in their last 10 games and remain within striking distance of the other Eastern Wild Card clubs.
Center Tim Stützle extended his point streak to nine games on Saturday evening. During this point streak, the German center has found the back of the net six times and added six helpers.
No. 17 - Seattle Kraken
Last Week Ranking - 16
Seattle began the week with two tough losses, to the Stars (4-1) on Wednesday evening and the Blues (5-1) on Thursday. However, they were able to pick up a much-needed two points on Saturday evening, defeating the lowly Canucks by a 5-1 score, getting back on track. The Kraken will look to continue this momentum in their upcoming five-game homestand.
Seattle continues to hold their footing in the crowded Western Conference with a 6-4 record over their last 10 games. Their top winger, Jordan Eberle, enjoyed a massive three-point surge on Saturday, which snapped a five-game point drought.
No. 16 - Utah Mammoth
Last Week Ranking - 14
The Mammoth continue to hold their spot near the middle of our rankings. This week, Utah had a three-game slate and posted a 1-2 record. Their lone victory came on Friday night when they upset the Minnesota Wild. However, they would fall to the Avalanche at the start of the week and to the lowly Blackhawks on Sunday afternoon.
Utah now enters Week 20 with a 5-5 record over its last 10 and an overall 31-25-4 record. Despite the inconsistent play, forward Clayton Keller has played at a high level over his last five contests, scoring two goals and recording six assists.
No. 15 - Washington Capitals
Last Week Ranking - 18
The Capitals enjoyed a nice surge before the Olympic break, winning four of their last five, and saw similar results on the ice in their return to action. On Wednesday, they took down their division rival, the Flyers, in a crucial game for the Wild Card race (3-1), and stayed hot on Friday, taking down the Golden Knights (3-2).
They ended their week with a 6-2 loss to the Canadians on Saturday. Despite the tough finish, the Capitals carry a strong 6-3-1 record over their last 10 games and are now just two points behind the Bruins for the final Wild Card. Over the last five games, top goalie Logan Thompson has posted a strong 4-1 record with an elite 2.21 GAA and a .920% SV%.
No. 14 - Vegas Golden Knights
Last Week Ranking - 11
The Golden Knights extended their winning streak to three games on Wednesday evening when they took down the Los Angeles Kings by a 6-4 score. However, their final two games of the week did not yield similar results, as they fell to two surging Eastern clubs, the Capitals on Friday night and the Penguins on Sunday afternoon.
This brings them to a 28-28-14 record and a modest 3-5-2 over their last 10. The Knights will look to get themselves back on track in Week 20, but tough matchups await them, facing the Sabres, Red Wings, and Wild.
No. 13 - Anaheim Ducks
Last Week Ranking - 15

The Ducks have now picked up five-straight victories and are surging in the Pacific Division. They enter Week 20 with 69 points, just one behind the Golden Knights, and now sit four points above the Kraken. The Ducks have a tall test to open the new week on Tuesday evening, facing the Avalanche.
No. 12 - Columbus Blue Jackets
Last Week Ranking - 12
The Blue Jackets were the hottest team in the sport, entering the break as they went from near the bottom of the East to the heat of the Wild Card race. However, they stumbled a bit recently, but remain within the top-12 in our rankings. They played two games this week and posted a 0-1-1 record.
On Thursday, they fell to the Bruins (4-2) and then lost in overtime to the New York Islanders (4-3) on Saturday. Despite the two losses, the Blue Jackets enter the new week with a strong 7-2-1 record and will look to bounce back on Monday against the Rangers. They remain in the heart of the Eastern playoff picture.
No. 11 - Detroit Red Wings
Last Week Ranking - 9
The Red Wings were in a bit of a slump before the break, and saw this trend continue in the short week. They returned to action on Thursday evening and took down the Senators in a massive 2-1 overtime victory. However, they were unable to build much momentum, falling to the Hurricanes in regulation (5-2) on Saturday.
The Wings sit with a strong 34-20-6 record but carry a lower 4-4-2 record over their last 10 games. Since the start of the New Year, John Gibson has been the backbone of this squad, carrying a 10-4-1 record (15 games) with a 1.97 GAA and a .925% SV%.
No. 10 - New York Islanders
Last Week Ranking - 13
The Islanders picked up all six possible points in thrilling fashion this week. On Thursday, they defeated the Montreal Canadiens in overtime, 4-3. On Saturday, they take down the red-hot Blue Jackets by the same score in overtime as well. The Islanders would conclude their week with a 5-4 victory over the Florida Panthers, pushing their overall record to 35-21-5.
They now sit tied alongside the Penguins in points for the No. 2 seed in the Metropolitan Division. However, the Penguins have two games at hand. Rookie sensation Matthew Schaefer put the team on his back this week, posting two two-goal efforts and even had his first three-point showing on Sunday evening against the Panthers.

However, they would then drop their last two games, falling to the Hurricanes (5-4) and the Buffalo Sabres in a tough 6-2 loss.
