MLB DFS: Top Daily Fantasy Expert Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel (3/30/24)

Kris Bryant - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Prospects

Free daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings, FanDuel. Use Brenton's MLB DFS expert picks to building winning DFS lineups on March 30, 2024.

We had a solid night last night with our Free MLB DFS Picks. Bobby Miller was electric in racking up 11 punchouts against one walk across six scoreless innings while his teammate Teoscar Hernandez launched a pair of home runs and drove in three on the night. Merrill Kelly, Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, Jake Burger, and Joc Pederson also contributed to the success.

On this fine Saturday evening, we'll be covering the six-game main slate. With such a tight slate, we'll need to offer some differentiation for GPP success while also keeping some cash staples in mind!

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/30/2024 and the slate locking at 7:05 p.m. ET. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential. Follow me on X @BKemp17 for more DFS advice.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Hunter Brown vs. Yankees ($8,200 DK, $9,100 FD)

The New York Yankees were held at bay by Cristian Javier on Friday before getting to the Astros' bullpen but they have another tough starter on the mound tonight in the form of young right-hander Hunter Brown.

Brown showed flashes of ace-type stuff in the 2023 season despite finishing the season with a 5.09 ERA. At the same time, his 3.74 SIERA suggests he was far better than his surface ERA while he still managed to generate strikeouts at a healthy 26.8% clip. Keep in mind Brown has posted big-time strikeout numbers throughout his minor-league tenure.

Look for him to be a big-time fantasy contributor in the 2024 season as a major breakout candidate.

Logan Gilbert vs. Red Sox ($9,500 DK, $9,900 FD)

Mariners right-hander Logan Gilbert is probably the top cash option on the slate as he takes on the Red Sox at home on Saturday night.

The 26-year-old has been a model of consistency over the last two seasons, even if his ERA went from 3.20 in 2022 to 3.73 in the 2023 season. He doesn't generate big strikeout numbers with a career 24.1% K% but he has excellent control by way of a career 5.5% BB%. He doesn't hurt himself which is why we rarely see him blow up. That's important in cash games.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Kris Bryant - 1B, COL vs. Tommy Henry ($4,000 DK) - DraftKings only

Bryant is DraftKings only simply because he is first-base eligible there but he is very much worth a look as an outfielder at FanDuel ($2,800), as well.

The Rockies have been outscored 23-4 through the first two games of this series but they have a quality shot at some revenge on Saturday versus left-hander Tommy Henry. Henry posted a 4.15 ERA last season but also a 5.40 xFIP and a 5.29 SIERA. He has yielded home runs at a 1.46 HR/9 for his career. He does have reverse splits but we need to consider Bryant's work against lefties.

While he hasn't performed at his 2016 MVP pace of late, he still owns a career .954 OPS and .266 isolated power off of left-handed pitching and still a .212 ISO off of them despite a down year in an injury-shortened 2023 campaign. He should get to Henry out of the two-hole this evening.

Jake Cronenworth - 1B (DK) 1B/2B (FD) vs. Jordan Hicks ($3,900 DK, $2,700 FD)

A cost-efficient infielder on this six-game slate, Jake Cronenworth should give Jordan Hicks a good test in his second go-around as a starter.

Hicks owns a 5.47 ERA in his eight career starts. Meanwhile, Cronenworth owns a career .772 OPS off of right-handed pitching for his career. He hasn't hit for a ton of home run power over the last two seasons but still has 27 home runs in that time while also collecting 54 doubles and 11 triples in that time.

He's also in a fine run-producing spot out of the three-hole in the Padres' lineup, making him a nice value play on this slate.

Corey Seager - SS, TEX vs. Kyle Hendricks ($6,100 DK, $3.900)

Corey Seager holds more value at FanDuel than he does with a bloated price at DraftKings but if you're getting Rangers exposure against right-hander Kyle Hendricks, Seager is a must in DFS lineups today.

Hendricks rebounded with a 3.74 ERA in 24 starts last season but doesn't miss many bats and his 4.63 SIERA suggests he wasn't as good as his surface ERA indicates. He also limited home runs a season ago but had big home run issues in both the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Of course, Seager is coming off a mammoth season that saw him hit .327 with 33 home runs and 97 RBI despite appearing in just 119 games in 2023. He mashed both lefties and righties but the lefty-swinging 29-year-old posted an eye-popping 1.075 OPS off righties last season. Don't miss out on the ceiling tonight.

Also consider: Christopher Morel, Ketel Marte, Max Muncy

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. - OF, ARI vs. Austin Gomber ($4,300 DK, $3,200 FD)

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. comes in at a solid price tag on both sites as he lines up against left-hander Austin Gomber, he of a 5.50 ERA and a big 1.68 HR/9 in 2023.

Gurriel has already homered twice with six RBI in the first two games of the season. He hit .301 with an .815 OPS off of lefties last season but has also posted a career .291 average and .820 OPS off of southpaws. His white-hot start should continue against a pitcher who's largely struggled with the long ball throughout his career.

Wyatt Langford, OF - TEX vs. Kyle Hendricks ($2,600 DK, $2,600 FD)

If you're looking for value there aren't many better looks than rookie Wyatt Langford against Hendricks this evening.

The 22-year-old lit the world on fire with six home runs in spring training and is 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in his lone game to begin the 2023 season. Now that he has made the team, ATC projects a healthy power/speed combination of 19 home runs and 15 stolen bases this season.

If you're using Seager, Langford helps offset the cost, especially at DraftKings.

Seiya Suzuki, OF - CHC vs. Cody Bradford ($4,200 DK, $3,200 FD)

It sure looks like Suzuki could be primed for a breakout season in 2024.

The 29-year-old hit 20 homers with six stolen bases last season while hitting .285. His 126 wRC+ suggests a breakout season but he could be even better in 2024, especially if he reaches his 22 homers and nine steals, as projected by ATC. All he did this spring was hit .429 with six homers and 12 RBI in 15 games. Of course, spring stats are often meaningless, but it's a start.

He should be able to get to the lefty Bradford tonight.

Also consider: Jung Hoo Lee, Nolan Jones, Kyle Tucker

2. Colorado Rockies vs. Tommy Henry (GPP)
