MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (7/7/25)

Jacob deGrom - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Jamie's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Monday, 7/7/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to another Monday edition of RotoBaller DFS! Hopefully, your pockets are a bit fuller after an action-packed weekend of baseball, and we get one more full week until the All-Star break comes. There are nine games on tonight's dance card, and some new faces to the writeup.

We'll be working hard for you as usual in the RotoBaller Discord channel, so come say hi and get some DFS lineup advice while you're there! I also want to wish happy drafting to anyone in the Scott Fish Bowl, as our live drafts kick off at 10 AM EST today.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/7/2025, with the slate starting at 7:10 PM EST. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Jacob deGrom, TEX ($10,300 DK/$11,200 FD)

Congrats to Jacob deGrom, who has battled his way through a multitude of serious injuries and now finds himself named to the AL All-Star team. Truly a remarkable story. Tonight, deGrom will parlay his all-star-ness into DFS success for us as he takes on the Angels in Los Angeles.

DeGrom's 25.9% K rate is a sizeable dropoff from his career rates, but his control is still impeccable at under two walks per nine innings. His 3.08 FIP also suggests that any regression off his ERA should be minor. The matchup here is pristine, as the Angels have struck out by far the most against RHP this season. Yamamoto is enticing at $200 more, but I'm #TeamDeGrom tonight.

Colton Gordon, HOU ($7,000 DK/$7,200 FD)

Colton Gordon is the cheap SP2 we're all searching for today. The rookie southpaw is going to need to keep the ball on the ground better if he's going to have success at the big league level (35% GB rate, 1.79 HR/9), but 1.39 BB/9 for a rookie is incredibly impressive.

Before his outing in Coors Field, Gordon had not allowed more than two runs in a game since 5/31 against the Rays, and he gets a solid draw against Cleveland. The reeling Guardians have lost nine straight and have been shut out in three of those nine contests. They also uncharacteristically have been striking out a ton against lefties, with the second-highest K rate in that split.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Elly De La Cruz, SS - CIN ($5,900 DK/$3,800 FD)

It appears that Cincinnati is the one spot we'll need to watch the weather today, but as of now, it seems like nothing more than a minor delay. Janson Junk has been a SOLID starter for the Marlins thus far this season, but he's getting a ginormous park downgrade and is backed by a below-average bullpen.

The Reds have an IRT of 4.9 runs, and Elly De La Cruz offers a unique blend of speed and power. He has beaten on RHP for a .378 wOBA and .245 ISO and has 18 homers and 22 steals. With cheap stacks and inexpensive pitching available, the argument can be made that Elly is the top overall hitter on the slate.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 1B - TOR ($5,200 DK/$3,400 FD)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has had quite a ride this year. He cashed in on a half-billion dollar contract to remain with the Jays and hasn't disappointed, as he was voted in as the starting first baseman for the AL All-Star squad. Toronto also has an IRT of 4.9 runs as they travel to Chicago to take on Sean Burke and the 29th-ranked White Sox bullpen.

Burke has struggled this season with a 33.5% GB rate and 4.83 FIP, and the bullpen behind him has allowed the third-highest ISO with the second-worst FIP. Vlad has not shown the elite reverse-split power this year as we've seen in his career, but he has a career .369 wOBA and .213 ISO in that split.

Romy Gonzalez, 1B/2B/3B (FD Only) - BOS ($4,400 DK/$3,200 FD)

Boston is the top stack tonight by a long shot, and their cheap price tags are going to be very attractive to the masses. Austin Gomber could be batting practice for the BoSox with his 6.9% K rate, 32.2% GB rate, and 6.16 xFIP, and Boston has a slate-high IRT of 5.8 runs.

Romy Gonzalez is hitting in the third or fourth spot in the lineup lately, and he's blistered lefties for a .407 wOBA, .243 ISO, and 47.6% HHR this season. His multi-positional eligibility makes him easy to roster, and you could make the argument he's the top per-dollar play of the evening.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Corbin Carroll, OF - ARI ($5,800 DK/$4,000 FD)

For once, I'm not picking Aaron Judge (not playing) or Shohei Ohtani (facing Freddy Peralta) as the top OF play! Corbin Carroll has only just returned from injury and put up a round 0-for-5 in his first game back, but I'm in this evening. Carroll will get to target another gentleman returning from a long injury, Yu Darvish.

Darvish will be a welcome addition to the back end of the San Diego pen, but his K rate has steadily declined as he approaches his 39th birthday. There should be some definite rust tonight as he takes the hill for the first time in a while.

Carroll has a .355 wOBA and .254 ISO against RHP this year and is also the night's BvP play. In his career, he's 7-for-13 with three XBH and two homers with a 2:3 BB:K ratio against Darvish.

Jesus Sanchez, OF - MIA ($3,800 DK/$3,100 FD)

Congrats to Kyle Stowers for repping the Marlins in his first ASG selection, and I do like him tonight as well. However, it's Jesus Sanchez who takes the cake as the top Miami option this evening. Sanchez has been crushing the ball of late, and Miami has the means to be a top stack on this short Monday slate.

Brady Singer will start for the Reds, and he's allowed a .373 wOBA and 1.55 HR/9 to LHB over the past three seasons. Over his last four games, Sanchez has three multi-hit games, three XBH, and a steal, and he has a 40.5% HHR against RHP this season.

Rob Refsnyder, OF - BOS ($3,700 DK/$2,800 FD)

Back to the Red Sox! Rob Refsnyder is not your prototypical three-hitter, but that's what he is now, and he's too cheap for his price tags on a team with an IRT approaching six runs. At face value, Refsnyder's stats don't jump out of the page, but he's crushing lefties this year.

Refsnyder has a .400 wOBA and .255 ISO against LHP, and Austin Gomber has allowed a 41% HHR to RHB over the past three seasons. Lock and load here.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Shohei Ohtani, 1B/OF, LAD ($6,500 DK/$4,700 FD)
  • Kyle Stowers, OF - MIA ($4,400 DK/$3,400 FD)
  • Heliot Ramos, OF - SF ($4,300 DK/$3,500 FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Boston Red Sox vs Austin Gomber

Wabbit season! Duck season! Gomber season! Get out your Red Sox and go Gomber hunting this evening. His K rate is in the single digits, and it's going to be hot and muggy in Boston with the wind blowing out to left field. Boston's IRT of 5.8 runs is no fluke.

Favorite Combo: Gonzalez, Refsnyder, Narvaez, Story

2. Miami Marlins vs Brady Singer

The Miami Marlins make a surprise appearance in the top stack section! They've discovered some offense out of their young hitters, and they get a major park upgrade going to Cincinnati. Singer is best attacked with lefties, but Miami offers cheap upside from top to bottom.

Favorite Combo: Edwards, Sanchez, Ramirez, Stowers

3. Toronto Blue Jays vs Sean Burke

Ugh. The first-place Blue Jays. This Yankee fan has a sour taste just writing that, but their offense is firing right now, and they get to tee off against the White Sox pitching staff. Burke is first up, and he has a 4.83 FIP with a 33.5% GB rate. The bullpen is no better.

Favorite Combo: Lukes, Springer, Guerrero, Barger
