DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Michael King vs. SEA ($9,600 DraftKings; $10,000 FanDuel)

The Mariners are an appealing lineup to attack because they have struck out the most times in baseball. King has posted a 28.2% strikeout rate for the Padres. When he faced the Mariners earlier this season, he gave up two runs (one earned) and recorded nine strikeouts across six innings. King has also given up two or fewer earned runs in 10 of his last 11 starts.

Hunter Brown vs. OAK ($9,000 DraftKings; $9,400 FanDuel)

Brown has been as locked in as King, giving up two or fewer earned runs in nine of his last 10 starts. While he has a 1.38 WHIP on the road this season, he has a 1.15 WHIP at home. This is a great spot for him in Houston against an Athletics team that has scored the fifth-fewest runs in baseball.

Bryan Woo vs. SD ($8,100 DraftKings; $8,700 FanDuel)

Woo is having an excellent season with his 2.36 ERA and 3.30 FIP. His 20.2% strikeout rate leaves a lot to be desired, but he has only allowed 0.9 HR/9 and posted a 2.4% walk rate on his way to a 0.85 WHIP. Opponents only have a 4.1% barrel rate against him, so he’s inducing plenty of weak contact. Woo has a career 3.11 FIP and 0.87 WHIP at home, making him a viable target against the Padres.

Also consider: Blake Snell vs. MIL

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Gunnar Henderson – SS, BAL vs. Nick Pivetta ($6,400 DK; $4,300 FD)

Pivetta has given up 1.8 HR/9 this season. The last time he faced the Orioles, he was taken deep two times over five innings. One of those home runs was hit by Henderson, who has already gone deep 36 times this season. As he continues his quest for his first 40-homer campaign, it would not be a surprise to see him go deep in this matchup.

Yainer Diaz – C, HOU vs. Joey Estes ($4,600 DK; $3,100 FD)

Diaz is one of the best offensive catchers in baseball, batting .300 with 16 home runs. He has been especially productive at home, where he has a .179 ISO and a .370 wOBA. Estes has a 4.46 ERA and a 4.57 FIP, so he’s not exactly an imposing matchup.

Paul Goldschmidt – 1B, STL vs. Brandon Williamson ($4,000 DK; $3,000 FD)

Goldschmidt has caught fire down the stretch, hitting 24-for-57 (.421) with two home runs and nine doubles across his last 15 games. Having the lefty Williamson on the mound could help Goldschmidt remain on a hot streak. Right-handed pitchers have limited Goldschmidt to a .690 OPS, but he has a .802 OPS versus lefties.

Also consider: Elly De La Cruz, Jose Altuve, Salvador Perez

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Mookie Betts – OF, LAD vs. Jordan Wicks ($6,300 DK; $4,200 FD)

Across his last 15 games, Betts is 19-for-54 (.352) with five home runs, three doubles, and one triple. During that span, he had just an 11.1% strikeout rate to go along with his 12.7% walk rate. Wicks enter this matchup with a 1.42 WHIP and a modest 21.4% strikeout rate, so retiring Betts could end up being a tall order for him.

Colton Cowser – OF, BAL vs. Nick Pivetta ($5,400 DK; $3,100 FD)

Cowser did not hit a home run the last time Pivetta faced the Orioles, but he finished that game 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Cowser does bring power to the plate, hitting 20 home runs on his way to a .191 ISO this season. Against right-handed pitchers, he has a .339 wOBA and a .208 ISO.

Pete Crow-Armstrong – OF, CHC vs. Bobby Miller ($3,600 DK; $2,700 FD)

Crow-Armstrong has provided a spark for the Cubs, hitting 38-for-114 (.333) with five home runs, six doubles, and two triples over his last 34 games. This is a favorable spot for him against Miller, who allowed seven runs over five innings to the Angels in his last outing. Over 49.2 innings this season, Miller has given up 15 home runs and posted a 1.65 WHIP.

Also consider: Jarren Duran, Anthony Santander, Seiya Suzuki
