MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/7/24) - Today's Top Lineups

Shohei Ohtani - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

The top MLB DFS daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on June 7, 2024. Mike Barner's MLB DFS sleepers picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

There are 14 games scheduled to be played Friday. A few have slightly earlier start times, leaving us with 10 games to choose from for the main slates on DraftKings and FanDuel.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/7/2024, with the slate starting at 7:05 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential.

Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Garrett Crochet vs. BOS ($8,900 DraftKings; $10,900 FanDuel)

Crochet continues to shine for the White Sox, posting a 3.49 ERA and a 2.88 FIP through his first 13 starts. He misses a ton of bats, leaving him with a 33.7 percent strikeout rate. The Red Sox have struck out the third-most times in baseball, so Crochet has significant upside in that department.

Chris Bassitt at OAK ($8,300 DraftKings; $8,700 FanDuel)

Bassitt was hit hard in the early going, but he has just a 1.11 WHIP over his last six starts. He didn’t allow more than three runs in any of those six outings. His 1.45 WHIP for the season is an aberration, given that he has a 1.21 WHIP for his career. This is a great spot for him to continue to improve upon his WHIP and ERA, given that the Athletics have the seventh-worst OPS in baseball.

Lance Lynn vs. COL ($7,400 DraftKings; $7,500 FanDuel)

The Rockies have a .730 OPS at home, but they have just a .645 OPS on the road. They have also struck out the fifth-most times in baseball. After allowing four unearned runs over four innings to the Phillies in his last start, Lynn has an opportunity to bounce back in a big way in this matchup.

Also consider: Michael King vs. ARZ, Cooper Criswell at CWS

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Mookie Betts – SS, LAD vs. Cody Poteet ($5,900 DK; $4,000 FD)

Poteet pitched well in his first start filling in for Clarke Schmidt (lat), allowing three runs (two earned) over five innings against the Giants. Facing the Dodgers will be a much more difficult task. A concern for Poteet is that he has given up 13 home runs over 69.2 innings in his career. Betts has 10 home runs this season and is coming off back-to-back seasons with at least 35 home runs each, so he certainly brings plenty of power to the plate.

Nolan Arenado – 3B, STL vs. Austin Gomber ($3,700 DK; $2,800 FD)

Gomber enters this matchup with a 3.06 ERA, but his 5.04 FIP indicates that he likely hasn’t pitched that well. He continues to have issues keeping hitters inside ballpark, allowing 1.6 HR/9. Although his overall numbers have been a disappointment, Arenado has hit three home runs over his last eight games. With his salaries being so cheap on both sites, he could be worth the risk in tournament play.

Justin Turner – 1B, TOR vs. Hogan Harris ($3,400 DK; $2,700 FD)

Harris did not pitch well last year, posting a 7.14 ERA and a 5.02 FIP over 63 innings with the Athletics. He has struggled at Triple-A this year, recording a 7.67 ERA and 6.97 FIP over eight starts. The Blue Jays might not have a great lineup, but this is still an appealing matchup to attack. Turner had a .385 wOBA against left-handed pitchers last year and has been even better this year with a .402 wOBA against them.

Also consider: Freddie Freeman, Jose Altuve, Bo Bichette

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Shohei Ohtani - OF, LAD vs. Cody Poteet ($6,500 DK; $4,300 FD)

Another power hitter to target on the Dodgers is Ohtani. He hit yet another home run Wednesday, giving him 15 on the season. Of his 15 home runs, 12 of them have come off right-handed pitchers. Ohtani has as high of an upside as any hitter included in this slate.

David Fry – OF/C/1B, CLE vs. Ryan Weathers ($5,700 DK; $3,600 FD)

Weathers has far exceeded expectations this season with a 3.41 ERA and a 3.82 FIP. However, Fry is someone to target whenever he is facing a left-handed pitcher. He hasn’t exactly struggled with a .159 ISO and a .360 wOBA against right-handed pitchers this year, but he has an outstanding .400 ISO and .556 wOBA against lefties.

George Springer – OF, TOR vs. Hogan Harris ($3,600 DK; $2,800 FD)

Going back to the Blue Jays facing Harris, Springer is another option at a cheap salary to consider, at least in tournament play. He has started to show signs of life, hitting 10-for-33 (.303) with two home runs and a .452 OBP over his last 10 games. During that span, he had just a 7.1 percent strikeout rate.

Also consider: Yordan Alvarez, Teoscar Hernandez, Taylor Ward

2. Blue Jays vs. Hogan Harris
