Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings: Jordan Lawlar, Ronny Mauricio, Evan Carter, Mason Miller, Nolan Schanuel, more

Mason Miller - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Prospects, Draft Sleepers

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 25 (2023). Free agent hitters and pitchers to add include Ronny Mauricio, Jasson Dominguez, Mason Miller, Nolan Schanuel, Mitch Garver, and Tommy Pham.

Hey, RotoBallers! Today, we will review our mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings list for Week 25 - September 11 through September 17  to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. Some notable prospect notes include the Diamondbacks calling up shortstop Jordan Lawlar ahead of Thursday's game against the Cubs, while the Rangers will promote top outfield prospect Evan Carter. Top prospects such as Colt Keith, Justyn-Henry Malloy, Matt Mervis, Coby Mayo, and Gavin Stone patiently await the call to the big leagues.

Some notable recent performances include New York Mets shortstop Ronny Mauricio, who is slashing .421/.421/.474 with three stolen bases over his first five big career big league games. Los Angeles Angels first baseman Nolan Schanuel has collected a hit in six of his last eight games and is sporting a .359 OBP during that stretch. Oakland A's right-hander Mason Miller came out of the bullpen and struck out three over two perfect innings during Wednesday's 5-2 win over Toronto.

Injuries are piling up as the Miami Marlins placed outfielder Jorge Soler (oblique) and right-hander Sandy Alcantara on the injured list. Los Angeles two-way star Shohei Ohtani (oblique) is day-to-day with inflammation in his right oblique. Some good news: X-rays on Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll's right wrist injury returned negative.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

This week's waiver wire rankings feature players such as Jordan Lawlar, Ronny Mauricio, Christian Encarnacion-Strand, Jasson Dominguez, Mason Miller, Nolan Schanuel, Taj Bradley, Mitch Garver, Jarred Kelenic, Michael King, and Brett Baty rank, among others. We're here, as always, to help you stay on top of the latest waiver wire options, especially in leagues that allow for daily moves. Prospects that are making impacts continue to be called up, so you'll need to be informed. Be sure to stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

For anyone who isn't familiar, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free agent adds off waivers.

In addition to that, we are also putting out a second waiver wire rankings list mid-week. Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver wire moves or multiple waiver wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday.

Below, you will see our list of waiver wire pickups in our prioritized order. There should be waiver wire recommendations here for all sorts of league sizes, along with the position(s) for the player and the rostered percentages.
