LPL & LCK DFS Picks (7/22/21) - DraftKings and FanDuel League of Legends Daily Fantasy

Nolan's expert League of Legends (LoL) DFS advice and DraftKings/FanDuel lineup picks for LPL & LCK on 7/22/21. His top LoL value plays and esports DFS recommendations.

Welcome back summoners, to another LOL breakdown article featuring Four matchups tomorrow from the LPL and LCK. Let's see where we can find angles to attack the next slate.

Roster changes will be addressed if need be when mentioning each team.  As a friendly reminder, if you can't stomach any sub risk or don't enjoy waking up early, then figure a way to roster players that don't hold any sub risk.

I'll provide my League of Legends advice, analysis, and picks, for this LPL & LCK slate on DraftKings and FanDuel that locks at 4:00 AM on Thursday, July 22nd, 2021. If you have any questions about the slate or anything please reach out to me on Twitter @nolanroth10. I'll do my best to provide some useful analysis. The odds listed are from Bovada. Let's jump right into the matchups!

LCK Matches

LSB vs. GEN (-350)

AF vs. T1 (-275)

LPL Matches

UP vs. RNG (-900)

BLG vs. RA (-185)

CAPTAIN/STAR

GALA- RNG: GALA is the most expensive player on the slate, which makes fitting him in the captain slot a challenge. GALA has 100 kills this split and sits at a 29.5% kill share for RNG. RNG likely takes this series 2-0.

Aiming - BLG: I was surprised to see the BLG be the underdogs in this matchup and their pricing is low enough I'm willing to take a shot on them. It also allows you to fit a few more RNG players into your lineup. Aiming has a 73% kill participation and leads his team in KDA at 4.6

TOP

Xiaohu - RNG: Xiaohu is second to GALA in kill share for RNG. The kill totals haven't been what we are hoping for in his last two series sweeps, but he had been on a nice run with 12 and 14 in the matchups before that.

Rascal- GEN: Rascal is second on his team in kill share at 25.4%. Rascal is averaging a gold difference at 10 minutes of 163 compared to his opponent Summit who is averaging -65. Rascal has also been given the counter pick in his lane in over 50% of Gen.G games.

JUNGLE

Wei- RNG: Wei is second in kill participation for RNG. He is a very important player for RNG and when he is playing well they are a tough team to beat. RNG has now won their last 4 matchups 2-0 and is looking to keep the streak going tomorrow.

Oner- T1: T1 is 2-0 since inserting Oner into the lineup. While it has only been 5 games, Oner has carried a 31.4% kill share and 67.1% kill participation. He has reached double-digit kills and assists in both matchups so far and against AF that run can certainly continue.

MID

Zeka - BLG: Zeka is first in kill share and second in kill participation for BLG and is coming off a 15/2/14 performance that was good for 103 points on DK. He is the fifth most expensive mid laner on DK and is a great value in a very winnable series for BLG

Bdd - GEN: Bdd has put up 98 and 102 DK points in GEN's last two wins. He has touched double-digit kills and assists in both matchups and hit the 10+K/A bonus twice in his last series. He is a much better play on DK compared to on FD where he is the second most expensive mid.

ADC

GALA - RNG: If you couldn't afford GALA at captain play him here.

Aiming - BLG: Both ADC's in this article are worthy plays at captain or in their normal role slot.

SUPPORT

Life - GEN: Life leads GEN in kill participation and has gotten the counter pick in lane 54% of their games. While Ruler didn't make the write-up he is still a good play at ADC and I would look to pair him with Life. He is much cheaper on DK than FD

Ppgod - BLG: Ppgod comes in very cheap and allows for some flexibility elsewhere in your lineups. While none of his stats jump off the page, I'm happy to stick him in lineups that I am using BLG for some savings.

TEAM

RNG: RNG is the biggest favorite on the slate. If you aren't playing four RNG players and have the salary left in the team slot they are a solid choice.

T1: The team slot is often a good spot to roster the LCK teams. Their players often don't have the same upside as the LPL teams as the games usually feature lower kill totals. However, kills do not matter in the team slot and T1 is still a sizeable favorite.

FINAL THOUGHTS

RNG is really expensive on this slate, you are going to need to get creative to fit them in. RNG being so expensive will likely lead to some more spread-out ownership on this slate. I don't like to make predictions but the BLG/RA matchup is the only one that I see with the potential to go three games. As always reach out to me on Twitter if you have any questions.

That's it, for now, Summoners, good luck tomorrow!
