BALLER MOVE: Sit In All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB5
ANALYSIS: Nearly seven weeks after signing a free-agent deal with Buffalo, Leonard Fournette is set to be elevated to the Bills active roster for the first time since joining the team. Fournette's presence on Buffalo's 53-man game-day roster against the Chargers in Week 16 can likely be attributed to the fact that Bills' RB Ty Johnson has been dealing with a shoulder injury throughout the week.

"Lombardi Lenny" will look to show the Buffalo coaching staff what he can do as the team prepares to make a playoff run. Fournette was an instrumental piece of the Tampa Bay Bucs' Super Bowl-winning team in 2020. However, the veteran looked like a shell of himself in the Tampa backfield last season while averaging a paltry 3.5 yards per carry, and he was released by the Bucs following the 2022 campaign.
With running back James Cook playing the best football of his young career over the past month and veteran Latavius Murray firmly entrenched as Buffalo's short-yardage back, there likely won't be many opportunities available to Fournette. Fantasy managers who scooped him up when he signed with Buffalo in October should leave him on the bench against the Chargers, as the 28-year-old is unlikely to impact semifinal matchups that are taking place in most leagues this week.
