ANALYSIS: Tennessee Titans running back Julius Chestnut has had little fantasy football impact this season. The veteran running back is the RB101 for the year, averaging 0.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. However, he got some work on offense last week in the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Chestnut had three rushing attempts for 17 yards and 1.7 fantasy points in Week 17. He saw the field with Tony Pollard (flu) missing the game and Tyjae Spears leaving the contest with a concussion. While the veteran has had no fantasy value this year, Chestnut could have flex appeal in deeper leagues this week.
The Titans could be without Spears and Pollard against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Therefore, Chestnut could make his first start of the season. However, the matchup is far from ideal, as the Texans have held running backs to the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game over the first 16 weeks of the year.
Brian Callahan said Tyjae Spears and Jaelyn Duncan will be up in the air. Said there is a chance Tony Pollard or Dillon Radunz could play Sunday.
