LCK DFS Picks (8/12/21) - DraftKings and FanDuel League of Legends Daily Fantasy

Nolan's expert League of Legends (LoL) DFS advice and DraftKings/FanDuel lineup picks for LCK on 8/12/21. His top LoL value plays and esports DFS recommendations.

Welcome back summoners, to another LOL breakdown article featuring two matchups tomorrow from the LCK. Let's see where we can find angles to attack the next slate. With it being just a two-game slate, finding ways to differentiate from the norm will be important

Roster changes will be addressed if need be when mentioning each team.  As a friendly reminder, if you can't stomach any sub risk or don't enjoy waking up early, then figure a way to roster players that don't hold any sub risk.

I'll provide my League of Legends advice, analysis, and picks, for this  LCK slate on DraftKings and FanDuel that locks at 4:00 AM on Thursday, August 12th, 2021. If you have any questions about the slate or anything please reach out to me on Twitter @nolanroth10. I'll do my best to provide some useful analysis. The odds listed are from Bovada. Let's jump right into the matchups!

LCK Matches

AF (-195) vs. HLE

LSB (-275) vs. KT

CAPTAIN/STAR

Prince- LSB: Prince leads LSB in kills with 148 and carries a 30.5% kill share. Prince also has the lowest death share on the team. LSB has won 6 straight matchups, whereas KT has only won 2 of their last 6. Prince is the most expensive player on the slate.

Chovy - HLE: HLE are underdogs on this slate, which will have most people looking to stack LSB with AF. Chovy is the best player for HLE and carries a 27.5% kill share.

TOP

Summit - LSB: Summit has been playing well recently and has reached double digits in assists in 7 straight matchups. He is third in kill share on LSB, so while he isn't a core piece in lineups he goes well in an LSB stack

Secondary Option: Doran - KT

JUNGLE

Croco- LSB: Croco leads LSB with a 74.3% kill participation. That is the exact type of player you are looking to roster when stacking a team. While his 17.9% kill share is low, pairing him up with the more kill dominant players on the team allow you to maximize points.

Secondary Option: Willer - HLE

MID

Chovy - HLE: Chovy is my favourite mid lane choice on the slate, if playing Prince at captain lock him in here.

FATE - LSB: FATE is second in kill share for LSB. In lineups with Prince at captain, I will be using Chovy in the mid lane but FATE is a great choice in any lineup.

ADC

Prince - LSB: Play him at captain if you can afford him.

Deft - HLE: Sticking to the HLE theme, Deft fits great with Prince at captain lineups. He is second to Chovy in both kill share and death share so pairing the two of them up makes sense.

SUPPORT

Effort - LSB: Effort is second in kill participation at 68.1%. Much like Croco, pairing up Effort with the more kill dominant players on LSB is a great way to go on this slate.

Secondary Option: Vsta - HLE

TEAM

LSB/ HLE: LSB is the ideal choice on this slate, but in lineups featuring 4 LSB players I will be using HLE as a cheaper option. In a two-game slate, play whichever team you see winning the easiest in the team slot.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Two game slates are not ideal to play, as there will be a lot of similar if not the same lineups. Finding ways to be different is the smart way to go on slates like this. If HLE can pull out a victory we will be in a better spot then majority of lineups playing both favourites.

That's it, for now, Summoners, good luck tomorrow!
