Welcome back to our late slate Week 10 DFS picks article here at RotoBaller! In this piece, I will examine my top daily fantasy football lineup plays for the late slate in Week 10 of the NFL season.

In Week 10, we have three games on the NFL DFS late slate on DraftKings and FanDuel -- Tennessee Titans vs. Los Angeles Chargers, New York Jets vs. Arizona Cardinals, and Philadelphia Eagles. vs. Dallas Cowboys.

The NFL DFS lineup picks and recommendations are based on matchups, overall upside/talent levels, opportunity, salary, and factors such as home-field advantage, implied point totals, and more. Good luck with your DraftKings and FanDuel DFS lineups. Let's dominate this late slate together!

Quarterbacks - Late Slate Week 10 DFS Picks

Top Play: Jalen Hurts- PHI vs. DAL (DK: $7,800 / FD: $9,400)

Jalen Hurts topped 30+ fantasy points in his second straight game last weekend and has an excellent opportunity to keep the hot streak rolling in Week 10 against the Dallas Cowboys. During this stretch, Hurts has scored at least three touchdowns in each game.

The Cowboys have allowed the fifth-most points to opposing QBs this season. Just last week, Kirk Cousins tallied three passing scores and 200+ yards against this defense. Given Hurts’ elite rushing upside, he could be in store for another monster showing.

Contrarian Play: Aaron Rodgers - NYJ vs. ARI (DK: $5,700 / FD: $7,100)

My contrarian option is Aaron Rodgers. After having one of the worst outings of the season in Week 4, Rodgers has scored at least 20+ PPR points in all but two of the past five games. During this stretch, he has averaged 20.6 PPR points per game with 2.0 TD passes per game.

This weekend, he faces the Arizona Cardinals, who have allowed the 13th-most PPR points to opposing QBs this season. With elite weapons around him in a favorable matchup, Rodgers has an excellent opportunity to finish near the top of the position.

 

Running Backs - Late Slate Week 10 DFS Picks

Top Play: Breece Hall - NYJ vs. ARI (DK: $7,600 / FD: $8,200)

Since totaling just 23 rushing yards in Week 5, Breece Hall has reclaimed his RB1 status as he has averaged a solid 17.1 PPR points per game over the past four weeks. During this span, Hall has eclipsed 20+ PPR points on two occasions. In addition, he has seen at least three targets in every game.

On Sunday, he faces the Arizona Cardinals, who have allowed the 10th-most PPR points to opposing RBs this season. Seeing Hall perform well against a tough Houston defense last week suggests he should have an RB1 upside this weekend.

Top Play:  James Conner - NYJ vs. ARI (DK: $6,500 / FD: $7,600)

My other top option is James Conner. Conner has a tough matchup against the Jets, who have allowed the sixth-fewest PPR points to RBs this season, but given his recent success, I am willing to select him.

Over his past three games, Conner has eclipsed 100 rushing yards in two and seen at least three targets in all three. In addition, Conner logged at least 40 snaps in all but one game during this span, as he is seeing the vast majority of work in the Arizona backfield.

Last week, Joe Mixon tallied 106 yards and a score against this same defense. Given his heavy workload, Conner could be in store for similar results.

Contrarian Play: Rico Dowdle - PHI vs. DAL (DK: $6,100 / FD: $6,200)

My alternative option is Rico Dowdle. Dowdle is coming off his best game of the season, where he scored 21.7 PPR points with over 100+ scrimmage yards and a touchdown. Even though the Cowboys will be without Dak Prescott (hamstring) and potentially CeeDee Lamb (shoulder), Dowdle should still see a heavy workload.

The matchup against the Eagles is quite difficult as they have surrendered the fourth-fewest PPR points to opposing RBs. However, if you are looking for a volume play, save some salary and grab Dowdle, as he could be in store for a 20+ touch game.

Wide Receivers - Late Slate Week 10 DFS Picks

Top Play: DeVonta Smith - PHI vs. DAL (DK: $7,800 / FD: $8,500)

The 25-year-old was already considered a top option but could be the clear No. 1 choice if A.J. Brown (knee) cannot suit up.

Last weekend, Smith found the end zone for the second straight week, scoring 18.7 PPR points. Since Week 6, the former first-round pick has scored at least 15.0 PPR points in all but one game.

Even if Brown does play, Smith remains an elite choice on this slate, facing a Dallas defense that has allowed the 17th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts.

Top Play: Davante Adams- NYJ vs. ARI (DK: $7,100 / FD: $7,600)

My other top option could be a great stack with Aaron Rodgers. Last week, Davante Adams finally broke out of his slump, as he found the end zone for the first time as a New York Jet. 

Even though his first two games in New York were underwhelming, he saw a hefty target share in both, which suggested he was long due for a breakout performance.

This weekend, facing a weak Arizona secondary that has allowed the 12th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts, sets Adams up for another big afternoon.

Contrarian Play: Nick Westbrook-Ikhine- TEN vs. LAC (DK: $3,800 / FD: $5,400)

With DeAndre Hopkins being shipped to Kansas City, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine has moved up the depth chart and earned a starting role. Over the four weeks, Westbrook-Ikhine has found the end zone in each game and averaged a solid 11.2 PPR points per game.

In addition, he has seen at least four targets in his past three games. Even though he is facing a tough Los Angeles Chargers defense, the 27-year-old should have enough opportunities to contribute at his given price.

Contrarian Play: Michael Wilson- NYJ vs. ARI (DK: $4,600 / FD: $5,500)

The 24-year-old left last week’s game with zero receptions, his first time not getting on the box score this season. However, I am willing to bet on a bounce-back outing.

From Weeks 3 through 8, Wilson has averaged 5.8 targets per game and scored 10.1 PPR points per game. During this span, he averaged 10.3 yards per reception and ran the most routes on the team.

Facing a New York Jets team that is continuing to improve its offensive output each week could force the Cardinals to push the ball downfield more often than expected, which would allow Wilson to have a productive afternoon.

 

Tight Ends - Late Slate Week 10 DFS Picks

Top Play: Trey McBride - NYJ vs. ARI (DK: $5,700 / FD: $7,200)

Trey McBride is the clear top option on this small slate. The 24-year-old has seen an impressive 7.5 targets and 5.6 receptions per game this season.

Over the past four weeks, McBride totaled at least 50+ receiving yards in all but one game and eclipsed double-digit PPR points in each of them.

The Colorado State product remains matchup-proof for the remainder of the season and is one of the safest options.

Contrarian Play: Will Dissly - TEN vs. LAC (DK: $3,100 / FD: $4,900)

My alternative budget option is Will Dissly. In his past four games, Dissly has seen at least five targets in three, with a high of 11 during Week 7.

The risk is there, but Dissly has been able to see consistent volume recently in a Los Angeles offense that has continued to improve, especially from a passing standpoint. If you want to target multiple top RBs and WRs, Dissly could be a sneaky option at tight end to save you some budget while still providing enough upside.

 

Defense/Special Teams - Late Slate Week 10 DFS Picks

Top Play: Los Angeles Chargers - TEN vs. LAC (DK: $3,800 / FD: $4,800)

The Chargers are coming off an excellent outing against the Cleveland Browns and will now face the Tennessee Titans, who have allowed the most points to opposing defenses on FanDuel.

Last weekend, Los Angeles tallied six sacks and three interceptions and should have a great opportunity for another stellar showing against Tennessee.

Contrarian Play: Arizona Cardinals - NYJ vs. ARI (DK: $2,900 / FD: $3,700)

The cheaper option is the Arizona Cardinals, who tallied an impressive six sacks and allowed just nine points to the Chicago Bears last weekend.

Even though the Jets have been improving on offense, do not be surprised if the Cardinals can get to Aaron Rodgers quite often and provide a safe floor with a high sack total.
