Lamar Jackson fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 1 (2024). Should you start or sit Lamar Jackson for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB1
ANALYSIS: Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is coming off his second NFL MVP season and finished as the No.4 QB in PPR scoring last season.
He threw for a career-high 3,678 yards, 14 passing scores, and added 821 yards on the ground with an additional five scores.
This season, Lamar will once again have tight end Mark Andrews as his primary target and second-year wideout Zay Flowers on the outside. However, for the first time in his career, he will have an elite running back behind him in Derrick Henry.

Even though Henry is towards the back end of his career, having an elite runner in the backfield should open up more opportunities for Jackson as a passer.
The 27-year-old will have an opportunity for a revenge game on Thursday evening against the Kansas City Chiefs who defeated him in last year's AFC Championship game. In that game, Jackson scored 25.3 PPR points with 272 passing yards, one score, and 54 yards on the ground.
Even though the matchup is difficult playing in Arrowhead, fantasy managers should feel confident slotting the reigning MVP into their lineup every week this season.
