Jaylen Waddle's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 15 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jaylen Waddle for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has scored at least 10 PPR points in all but three games this year, including a notable performance with six catches for 79 yards, earning nearly 15 points in Week 14. The 25-year-old has garnered eight targets in each of the four games since the bye week but has not scored a touchdown since Week 8. With Tyreek Hill (ankle) missing practices leading up to the game, there's a chance he won't suit up or may be limited during the game. If that's the case, Waddle becomes the clear number-one target in a prolific passing attack.
In Week 15, the Dolphins face the Jets, who have allowed the fewest points per game to receivers this season. This matchup occurred recently in East Rutherford in Week 12, where Waddle recorded a season-high eight catches for 114 yards. While Hill's absence could result in more targets for Waddle, the talent in the Jets' secondary may focus on him and make him a defensive priority. Currently, Waddle is considered a low-end WR2 play this week against a tough Jets defense, but he could be poised for his first game as the number-one option if Hill is unable to play.
