Dr. Reuven Guy's fantasy baseball injury report for Week 13 (2025). Read the latest injury updates for Corbin Carroll, Chris Sale, Adley Rutschman, Bryce Harper, Yordan Alvarez, Sean Manaea, Chris Sale, Cole Ragans
School is out, summer is here, and the weather has surely let us know that. Just as the weather heats up, so do our fantasy baseball standings. This is the time of year when a lot of us go on vacations, and sometimes our fantasy teams could take a back seat. If your team is in contention, this is not the time of year to let off the gas.
When playing in fantasy leagues, paying attention to pickups and drops is sometimes easier to do during the months not named July and August. We all try to win our leagues, but we also have lives to live. The time we spend watching the waiver wire could determine how well we do in the league. A way to look ahead is to know how long injured players could be out. Knowing this could help your team and help you anticipate when injured players are due to return, if at all. I will continue to give updates and highlight fantasy-relevant players who are injured and try to give a good estimate of when those players will return to help your fantasy teams.
Here's a little about myself for both new and returning readers. My name is Reuven Guy, and I am a practicing orthopedic/pain management physician assistant. I have been dealing with sports injuries for the past 19+ years. Therefore, I have knowledge of orthopedic injuries and their recovery times based on my medical experience. I also played fantasy baseball during that time. This has helped me get an advantage in this aspect of fantasy baseball, which I hope to share with you. I am also the co-host of the 2025 FSWA award-winning podcast "Beat the Shift."
