FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/10/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

I can honestly say thank goodness the regular season is winding down. While the worry for 90% of the season is about how to stay under the cap, the past couple weeks have been a struggle figuring out how to spend the entire cap due to studs resting or playing very limited minutes. That won't change Tuesday  as there are only two players priced above 10K with any likelihood to play regular minutes.

I'll be making Ben Simmons the centerpiece of my lineups for reasons discussed further in this article, but there should be plenty of value to also play James Harden if he's active. Much of the rest of my lineup will be dictated by news throughout the rest of the day, but my core will likely feature the players in this article.

Below you will find our daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/10/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Yogi Ferrell-PG vs. PHO ($3,800)

Dallas has turned from a stealthy tank to not so stealthy as Harrison Barnes has already been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against Phoenix. It’s also possible Dennis Smith is also ruled out as he has a questionable tag after playing 40 minutes Sunday against the 76ers, and even with odd tanking rotations that would still open up a lot of minutes, usage and ball-handling opportunities for Ferrell. He will be a lock-in punt play if Smith is ruled out, so watch the news throughout the day.

Also Consider: John Wall-PG, vs. BOS ($9,200)

Malik Monk- SG @IND ($5,200)

The Hornets have made the smart call to give Monk consistent run with their playoff hopes dashed. While he’s still only getting mid-20s minutes, he’s getting them consistently and hasn’t been shy in looking for his shot and otherwise being involved in the offense while on the court. Over the past five games, his usage rate has been at 33.5% and his assist rate at 33.3%. That translates to no fewer than 13 attempts from the field in any game and at least 3 assists per game. He’s shown blocks and steals upside as well, averaging .8 of each per game, so he has the potential to fill the stat sheet and be a value even with his price rising.

Also Consider: James Harden-SG @LAL ($11,300)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Taurean Prince-SF vs. PHI ($6,500)

While it’s no guarantee, Prince carries no injury designation into Tuesday’s matchup against the 76ers so I’ll plan my lineups as if he’s playing. With the obvious caveat that his minutes are volatile, Prince has played 34 and 39 minutes over his past two games and returned over 6X value in each of those games. As one of, if not the top, scoring options on the team and the capability to produce across the board, Prince has the potential to be one of the most valuable players on the slate.

Ben Simmons-PF @ATL ($10,500)

The 76ers still have seeding to play for, and while there’s a high likelihood they blow out the Hawks, Simmons can fill up the stat-sheet in a hurry. Even If he is limited due to a blowout, there’s a good chance he had a lot to do with the scoring getting out of hand. The most recent example of this when he played only 25 minutes against the Nets yet scored 37.5 FD points. While not ideal, that wouldn’t kill your night. Harden is another possible elite option to spend on, but there aren’t many on the slate so I’ll take my chance on Simmons.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Alex Len- C @DAL ($4,600)

Len has been the ultimate dice roll all season, but without Chandler his minutes have evened out to at least some degree. He’s recently shown the ability to stay out of foul trouble, something that has held him back throughout his career. That combined with the fact that neither the Mavs or Suns figure to be fully engaged in this game defensively means that Len will have the chance to rack up cheap FD points. Given that his price tag remains low, he is worth the gamble.
