FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (12/12/17)

Today's top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/12/17. Daniel Marcus' expert NBA DFS advice, lineup sleepers and player recommendations.

Tonight's slate is a bit of mess due to uncertain injury situations, most notable being with Philadelphia and Cleveland. The return of Kawhi Leonard makes most Spurs plays hands off because there is little certainty as to what the rotation/usage will look like with his return. The Sacramento and Denver rotations are always changing as well, so we're in for a fun night.

A few teams do stand out however, as Detroit has an implied team total nearly four points over their season average. Sacramento is in a similar situation in a matchup against the Suns, but good luck figuring out who will go off for them on a nightly basis. That said, we've got some things to sort out and news will be vital to follow throughout the day to see where value opens up.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/12/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel.

DFS Guards to Consider

Reggie Jackson - PG, vs DEN ($6,100)

Jackson got a bit of a price hike due to the positive matchup against the Nuggets today, despite a terrible performance against the Celtics on Sunday. Both of those factors should scare off ownership but Jackson has proven that he is capable of big performances in positive matchups. To this point, Denver is the sixth friendliest defense to opposing point guards and the Pistons have an implied total more than four points over their season average. Jackson is best suited as a tournament option.

George Hill - PG vs. PHO($4,000)

The Kings entire team has a positive matchup on Tuesday against the Suns, which has resulted in their highest implied team total of the season at 106.75. A lot of their prices are inflated, with Zach Randolph and Buddy Hield being the biggest culrpits; yet George Hill is at his lowest price point since November 15. He was out of action on Sunday due to a personal matter but was back at practice on Monday. That said, he should be back in his usual role on Tuesday meaning he should see a floor of 20 minutes and making him a strong potential for value at his price tag.

Bradley Beal - SG, @Brooklyn ($8,600)

It appears that John Wall is trending toward missing one final game, meaning Beal has the opportunity to be the main offensive option one more night. He’ll draw a matchup against the Nets, a team that regularly gets roasted by opposing guards. Beal should be by far the highest shooting guard on the slate tonight, so don’t shy away.

Also Consider: Lonzo Ball - PG, @NYK ($7,300), Kent Bazemore - SG, @CLE ($5,500)

DFS Forwards to Consider

Kristaps Porzingis - PF, vs LAL ($9,700)

The Knicks have wasted no time getting Porzingis back into his normal role since his return from injury as he has played 36 and 38 minutes and take 23 and 25 shots respectively over his past two games. His $9,700 price tag is at one of it’s highest points of the season, but he has an outside chance to be the top scoring player on the entire slate.

Wilson Chandler - SF, @DET ($4,400)

Chandler’s 37 minutes on Sunday are inflated thanks to the Nuggets overtime matchup against the Pacers. However, Chandler hasn’t been shy in getting his shot up since his return from injury, shooting 11 or more times of three of his four games. Considering he is still shooting just 34.8% in that span, Chandler is in line to heat up. His price tag has not accounted for that, so even if it feels a bit like chasing points, Chandler is a good play tonight.

Jae Crowder - PF, vs. ATL ($4,100)

Like a lot of plays tonight, Crowder's status as a value play depends on the news that comes out throughout the day. With Kevin Love out on Sunday, Crowder saw 33 minutes on the court and put up a solid (considering his price) 27 FD points. Tristan Thompson will almost certainly be back for tonight's game, which adds a bit of concern for Crowder's minutes, but indications have been that he will come off the bench which should leave enough minutes for Crowder if Love is out.

Also Consider: Jimmy Butler - SF, vs. PHI ($9,000)

DFS Centers to Consider

Marcin Gortat - C, @Brooklyn ($4,700)

Gortat is losing minutes and also quality in his play, but Tuesday night should offer him a chance to visit the fountain of youth. Ian Mahinmi has taken minutes from him lately, but he looks unlikely to play. That means Gortat is a good bet to see around 30 minutes. That makes him a very good bet to pay off his minimal $4,700 price tag.

Also consider: Karl-Anthony Towns ($9,700), Andre Drummond ($9,200)
