DraftKings Lineup Picks & Sleepers (4/27/17): MLB DFS Advice

We're back to two slates on DraftKings today, and both have enough games to play. The early slate is slightly bigger, but we can take advantage of both slates today. This article will focus on both of them.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/27/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

You can read our FanDuel and Yahoo DFS lineup picks as well. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Washington Nationals vs Antonio Senzatela

Senzatela has looked good this season, but he has yet to face an offense as powerful as the Nationals in Colorado. He struggles to strike batters out, and the Nationals have the power and speed to dominate when the ball is put in play. They're also -118 favorites in a game set at 10.5 runs. This is the last time they are playing in Coors this season, and the Nationals make an elite stacking option today.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs Jered Weaver

The Diamondbacks have the highest team total on the slate, as the are -159 favorites in a game set at 10.5 runs. They get an elite matchup against Weaver, who enters this game with a 2.7 HR/9 through his first four starts. He also has a 3.91 ERA and has struggled to strike batters out. Arizona has also been a significantly better offense at home, and they should have no problems dominating again tonight.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Chris Sale - vs NYY, $12,900

Sale has looked unbelievable this season. He brings an elite 0.91 ERA, 0.71 WHIP, and 12.7 K/9 into this game. He gets a great matchup against the Yankees, and Sale has the ability to pitch deep into games. He's also a -175 favorite in a game set at 7.5 runs. He isn't going to come cheap, but Sale is far and away the best pitching option on this slate.

Carlos Martinez - vs TOR, 8,900

Martinez has been a hit or miss option this season, as he has scored 22.8 and 32.9 fantasy points in two of his games, but he has also scored less than 10 fantasy points in his other two games. He has struggled with a 4.77 ERA, but his 12.3 K/9 has made up for it. He's a -174 favorite in a game set at 8 runs today, and he's a solid option in all leagues because of the matchup.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Alex Avila - vs SEA, $2,700

Avila is only starting against right-handed pitching, but he has looked outstanding when given the at-bats this season. He's hitting over .400 with more than half of his hits going for extra bases. He has also been a significantly better hitter at home, and Avila is an elite salary relief option today.

First Base (1B)

Carlos Santana - vs HOU, $4,400

Santana isn't an orthodox lead-off hitter, but the spot in the lineup has boosted his value. He gets a good matchup against Mike Fiers tonight, and Santana has an impressive 0.037 wOBA and 0.12 ISO differential against right-handed pitching. Santana has been playing well enough to be used in all leagues on this slate.

Second Base (2B)

Jedd Gyorko - vs TOR, $3,400

Gyorko has been one of the hottest hitters in the MLB recently, as he's hitting over .350 with great power over his last 10 games. He has been a much better hitter against right-handed pitching this season, and he has flashed tremendous power, especially for his price. He gets a great matchup against Latos, and Gyorko is a great option in all leagues.

Shortstop (SS)

Francisco Lindor - vs HOU, $4,300

Lindor has really cooled off recently, but he's still a consistent hitter with tremendous upside. He's a player that possesses a great combination of power and speed, and he gets a good matchup against Mike Fiers tonight. Lindor has also been a slightly better hitter against right-handed pitching, and he can be used in all leagues.

Third Base (3B)

Jake Lamb - vs SD, $4,600

Lamb is a huge part of the Diamondbacks offense, as he's hitting in the clean up spot. He has looked outstanding at home this season, as he has displayed plenty of power through his first few games. He gets an elite matchup against Jered Weaver, and Lamb is an essential part of an Arizona stack tonight.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

David Peralta - vs SD, 3,800

Peralta has been playing exceptionally well this season, especially at home. Over his last 10 games, he's hitting over .400 with an elite combination of speed and power. He's also hitting near the top of the Cardinals lineup, and he gets an elite matchup against Jered Weaver tonight. Peralta is a consistent option with tremendous upside, and he can be used in all leagues.

Tyler Collins - vs SEA, $2,500

Collins has struggled at times this season, but he's extremely cheap, comes with great upside, and is hitting high in the Tigers offense. He has dominated right-handed pitching throughout his career, and he gets a great matchup against a struggling Hisashi Iwakuma. Collins isn't safe enough to be used in cash games, but he's an outstanding salary relief option in tournaments.

DFS Hitters to Avoid on DraftKings

Adrian Gonzalez - at SF, $3,200

Gonzalez has been struggling a bit this season, as he has yet to hit a home run through more than 20 games. He gets a tough matchup against Matt Moore, and Gonzalez enters this game with a -0.099 wOBA and -0.133 ISO differential against left-handed pitching. He also has a low 23% hard-hit rating to go along with a 51% ground ball rate. He's a low upside player that has also struggled a bit with consistency today.
