ANALYSIS: I contend that DeMario Douglas is the best wide receiver on the New England Patriots and should see a minimum of 10 targets a game. That's not even a fantasy take, but an NFL one that would help their offense move the ball a little more consistently week to week. But offensive coordinators don't always see it that way, I digress.

Douglas has had three-plus games where he's seen nine or more targets in 2024, but his usage and consistency have been all over the place.
The good news is that rookie quarterback Drake Maye is now under center and playing well for the most part. He's still made a few mistakes and bad throws each week, but he's moving the ball much better than Jacoby Brissett was.
I still think there's room for us to catch lightning in a bottle with Douglas, but it might be better to wait and see first.
