Demarcus Robinson's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 17 (2023). Should you should start or sit Demarcus Robinson for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 16+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: After not registering a stat for the first eight weeks of the season, Los Angeles Rams WR Demarcus Robinson has become the team’s go-to WR3 option behind WRs Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.
Since Week 13, Robinson has averaged roughly 57 yards per game on an average of six targets. He has also scored a touchdown in each of his last four games.
Now he gears up as the Rams travel east to square off against the New York Giants in Week 17. The Giants have been a favorable opponent for receivers this season, allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to the position. They also find themselves with a bottom fifteen secondary, allowing the 12th most receiving yards per game.
Robinson’s ceiling remains limited, as he does fall behind both Kupp and Nacua in terms of targets, yards, and receptions this season. The Giants have also defended receivers playing on the outside relatively well, allowing the 12th-least fantasy points to receivers playing out wide, where Robinson takes about 82% of his snaps.
With a solid matchup incoming, fantasy managers in deeper formats can take a flier on the former Florida Gator to hopefully continue his touchdown streak in Week 17. He is currently the WR42 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
