Darius Slayton is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 11 of the 2022 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 6% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: There is always the fear of a bye week breaking a good streak of results. Not in Darius Slayton's case, judging by his most recent outing coming off the Giants' bye back on Week 9. In fact, the resting time might have actually fixed the minimal wrongs on Slayton's resume.
Back in Week 5, Slayton had his best game of the season (in his second 2022 appearance) putting up 13.9 PPR points thanks to a near-perfect 6-of-7 outing for 79 receiving yards. Of course, that game was followed by a true stinker (2.8 PPR catching 1-of-3 targets for 18 yards) that had people dubious about Slyaton's fantasy viability.
It's now been three games in a row for Slayton putting up at least 11.6 PPR points. He went for 14.8 in W7, then 11.6, and last Sunday he reached a season-high 18.5 PPR getting 4 targets of which he hauled in 3 for 95 yards and his second touchdown this season.
Slayton has finished three of the last five slates he played in as a WR2 (top-22 or better) with the other one at WR3 level (top-36). Slayton is the only Giants receiver with four games of 10+ PPR points from Week 5 on. He is not in possession of a massive ceiling (unless he keeps scoring TDs, which are scarce) but Slayton should be good for some 10+ PPR weekly ROS, making him a fantastic WR3 option in most leagues.
