Welcome back to the DFS Patrol. Regular season basketball is officially over which means it's all baseball here on out. In this article, I’ll be providing you with the top starting pitcher streamers for daily fantasy baseball (DFS) and for seasonal leagues for 4/22/16. These streamers will range from high-priced / high-ownership options to low-priced / low-ownership options, and will be sleepers and value picks for your cash games and GPPs on DraftKings and FanDuel, and also for seasonal leagues with daily lineups.

No early games to worry about today. Full slates start at 7:05 ET and the pitching is not top heavy. But that doesn't mean there aren't solid plays abound.

Daily Pitcher Matchup Ratings Tool Top Plays

Martin Perez (TEX) @ CWS

FanDuel - $6,700 / DraftKings - $6,900

I'm just as surprised as you are. Perez has put together three straight quality starts, but more importantly, faces a struggling White Sox offense. The White are hitting .193 in their last three games and .222 overall (25th in MLB). Perez is solely a GPP play, but I'm willing to test out the system.

Felix Hernandez (SEA) @ LAA

FanDuel - $11,000 / DraftKings - $10,800

The highest priced pitcher, King Felix is 6-1 with a 1.34 ERA in his last 11 starts versus the Angels. One Angel to be aware of; Mike Trout (.354, 4 HR). The poor control by Felix (13 BB in 18 IP) dips some value in DraftKings, but he's a solid play.

Max’s Value Plays of the Day

Jeff Samardzija (SF) vs MIA

FanDuel - $8,400 / DraftKings - $9,300

The Shark makes his debut at AT&T Park tonight versus a team that traveled from Miami yesterday. He hasn't impressed to this point (3.72 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, 6.63 K/9) which should help lower ownership. The Marlins have struck out 9.4 times per games on the road this year.

Patrick Corbin (ARI) vs PIT

FanDuel - $7,800 / DraftKings - $7,600

The pick is for FanDuel given the recent hot streak by Arizona. I expect them to keep it going versus Jonathan Niese, supplying those precious 12 points. He struck out over 8 batters per nine innings at home last year.

Aaron Sanchez (TOR) vs OAK

FanDuel - $6,700 / DraftKings - $7,200

Everyone's favorite sleeper is actually a fade for our Matchup Tool, but I'm not buying it. Sanchez has a 20/7 K/BB ratio in three starts so far with a shiny 1.35 ERA. Ownership will be high, but I'll have a few shares regardless.

Starting Pitchers to Fade in Daily Fantasy Baseball

Adam Wainwright (STL) @ SD

FanDuel - $8,500 / DraftKings - $9,700

Love the matchup but Wainwright just isn't the same in 2016. He's only struck out seven batters in 16.1 innings. Owners will pay for the name and the matchup, but there are safer plays at that price point.

Matt Moore (TB) @ NYY

FanDuel - $7,600 / DraftKings - $7,900

I can't hate Moore too much, considering he won me big money in his last go-round. While the Yankees have struggled as of late, Moore has a 4.66 ERA in the Bronx and has a tendency to struggle with his control. Ownership will be high thanks to his last start, making this a fade today.
