In this article, I’ll be providing you with the top starting pitcher streamers for daily fantasy baseball (DFS) and for seasonal leagues for 4/18/16. Daily Pitcher Matchup Ratings Tool Top Plays

Noah Syndergaard (NYM) @ PHI

FanDuel - $11,300 / DraftKings - $12,100

Regardless of your feelings on JoFer, Thor is the top pitcher on the board and gets a bottom five offense. Anything less than 6 IP, 8 K would be a disappointment. My top play of the play, even factoring in price.

Jose Fernandez (MIA) vs WAS

FanDuel - $10,700 / DraftKings - $11,300

JoFer lost his first home game ever last time out and gets a hot Nationals offense. He'd held them in check previously, but I'd rather pay up for Thor or go for value.

Max’s Value Plays of the Day

Jerad Eickhoff (PHI) vs NYM

FanDuel - $7,100 / DraftKings - $8,000

Eickhoff has been excellent to start 2016 and is coming off a 7 IP, 0 ER, 9 K performance. He had a 2.43 ERA last year, so this isn't a fluke. My favorite SP2 for DraftKings purposes (and I have no problem pairing with Syndergaard).

Carlos Rodon (CHW) vs LAA

FanDuel - $8,500 / DraftKings - $9,200

Rodon's 1.25 ERA since August last year is top-five in baseball and he hasn't slow down this year (1.38 ERA, 12 K). He has a 1.20 ERA in two career starts versus LAA.

Starting Pitchers to Fade in Daily Fantasy Baseball

John Lackey (CHC) @ STL

FanDuel - $8,700 / DraftKings - $8,500

Lackey is a solid pitcher but he won't win you a tourney on his own. That, plus the fact the Cardinals will be ready to prove him wrong for leaving town and his high price tag, makes him a fade for me.

Clay Buchholz (BOS) vs TOR

FanDuel - $8,500 / DraftKings - $7,800

The Red Sox usually show up for the Boston Marathon, but I expect this to be a shoot out. Buchholz has allowed 10 runs in nine innings so far.
