Welcome back to the DFS Patrol. In this article, I’ll be providing you with the top starting pitcher streamers for daily fantasy baseball (DFS) and for seasonal leagues for 4/13/16. These streamers will range from high-priced / high-ownership options to low-priced / low-ownership options, and will be sleepers and value picks for your cash games and GPPs on DraftKings and FanDuel, and also for seasonal leagues with daily lineups.

Another full slate of baseball on tap, with the pitching dropping off after the top two (Carlos Carrasco, Stephen Strasburg). But that doesn't mean there isn't value to be found! Check out our value plays below.

Daily Pitcher Matchup Ratings Tool Top Plays

Carlos Carrasco (CLE) @ TB

FanDuel - $10,200 / DraftKings - $11,900

Carrasco strikes out over a batter per inning and none of the current Rays have had much success versus him. I do question the Indians offense giving him support here, which is why I'm more interested in Strasburg today.

Stephen Strasburg (WAS) vs ATL

FanDuel - $11,200 / DraftKings - $11,300

Strasburg gets a minor league lineup again after allowing one run in six innings versus them last week. The Braves have had success versus Strasburg previously, but Braves morale has to be low after losing seven straight to start the year. Look for the Braves to be 0-8 after today.

Max’s Value Plays of the Day

Drew Smyly (TB) vs CLE

FanDuel - $8,700 / DraftKings - $10,400

Smyly got roughed up versus Toronto in his debut but he averaged over a strikeout per inning last year. The Indians have not clicked yet and this is a strong opportunity for players on FanDuel. On DraftKings I would pay for Strasburg or go value.

Phil Hughes (MIN) vs CWS

FanDuel - $6,900 / DraftKings - $7,300

Hughes looked excellent in his debut and lost a reported 15 pounds this offseason. The White Sox have touched him up in previous starts, so tread carefully, but there's plenty of value as the Twins look to get off the schneid and win a game.

A.J. Griffin (TEX) @ SEA

FanDuel - $6,200 / DraftKings - $7,900

One of my favorite comeback stories, Griffin won his first start since 2013 last week, going six innings with three runs and four strikeouts. He gets a Mariners team he held in check while in Oakland, and at this price it's hard to not grab few shares.

Starting Pitchers to Fade in Daily Fantasy Baseball

Ubaldo Jimenez (BAL) @ BOS

FanDuel - $7,900 / DraftKings - $7,600

Don't be fooled by Good Ubaldo last week. Bad Ubaldo is coming and a trip to Fenway will do the trick. He has a career 7.26 ERA in 11 starts versus Boston, with multiple current Red Sox having their way with him. Fade material.

Rubby De La Rosa (ARI) @ LAD

FanDuel - $5,900 / DraftKings - $7,100 Don't get cute FanDuelers. That price is bargain bin, but De La Rosa offered up a 1.59 HR/9 in 2015, second worst in baseball. This could get ugly.
